The OGS FamilySearch Affiliate Library is open.
The Oregon Genealogical Society is a FamilySearch Affiliate Library. You can access online records that are not available from home at our library on one of our patron computers or bring your laptop to the library. Most of the records that have a camera icon with the key above are accessible at the OGS Library.
3rd Annual Used Book Sale
Saturday and Sunday, July 9 & 10
Book donations are now being accepted for the used book sale. You may deliver them to the library during our regular business hours. OGS is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization so books donated for the sale are tax-deductible so tell your friends, neighbors, and family. This is one of several fundraisers OGS holds to support the library and society. Email us if you have questions.
Books cover a wide range of topics and including fiction, sci-fi, mysteries, genealogy, history, biographies, cookbooks, poetry, dieting, natural remedies, self-help, travel, reference, and more.
Saturday Hours: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Sunday hours: 10:30 am - 4:30 pm
The sale will be in the OGS Library Annex located at 965 Oak Alley, Eugene, under the north end of the Overpark parking garage in the alley behind the Downtown Athletic Club. Free parking is available in the Overpark on the weekends.

Everyone is invited to join us, so invite your friends, family, and genealogy buddies.
Lunch & Learn Sessions are 11 am to 2 pm and are open to OGS members and to the public. The roundtable discussion starts at 11:00 am with attendees sharing their knowledge about the topic. A potluck salad and dessert lunch at noon followed by an education program at 1:00 pm.

  1:00 pm  Program:  Researching and Writing Fiction with author Jeff Wallach. (See details in the calendar.)
Members donate salads and desserts for the lunch or you may bring your own sack lunch and beverage. Coffee, hot tea, plates, napkins, and utensils are provided. If you decide at the last minute to come, but don't have time to make or pick something up? Come anyway. We’ll be glad to see you. If you have a special diet, then feel free to bring your own food.  Suggested donation of $5.00.
